Casa Isaluna

Casa Isaluna sits on Calle Cochera del Hobo in San Diego, inside Cartagena's Walled City. It takes fourteen guests across six bedrooms and nine beds, and every one of the six is a suite with its own bathroom — the Isaluna Suite with a bathtub, which is rarer in the old town than it ought to be. Seven bathrooms in all, counting the one that serves the shared rooms. There is a pool and a jacuzzi. Six en-suite rooms is what makes a group of fourteen work as a group rather than as a negotiation: six couples, or three families, each with a door that closes and a bathroom behind it. Isaluna belongs to no collection and answers to nobody's house style, which is worth knowing if what you want is a particular house rather than a particular standard. San Diego is the quiet quarter of the walls, and it is the reason to be on this street.
